The memory of Ruth Anna Young of Salmon, Idaho, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Inglehart and Viola Inglehart; and her siblings, Jim Engelhart, Betty and Joan.

She is survived by: her husband Roger Young; her siblings, Robert Engelhart, Jean Pellegrino (Joe) and Fern Brunclik; her children, Rory Young (Laurie) and Recia Barlow (Phil); and her grandsons, Brandon Barlow (Brillianna) and Devin Barlow.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (201 Lombard St, Salmon, ID 83467).

Because Ruth had a very rare blood type (O NEG), she began a life-long commitment of donating to the Red Cross.
