We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Vandee DeCora of Salmon, Idaho, born in San Jose, California. In the sacred silence of farewell, Vandee is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vandee's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Elorriaga and Katherine Elorriaga; and her stepson Wacy DeCora. She is survived by: her uncle Howard; her aunt Irene; her cousins, Barbara and Nancy; and her children, Travis and Tiffany.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacajawea Center (700 Main St, Salmon, ID 83467).
