He is survived by: his significant other Virginia Thornton; his brother-in-law Robert F. Watts; his son Stephen L.; his former wife Adela Blanca; his stepchildren, Vivian and David; and his daughter Nancy Gilles (Dave) of Sandpoint. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren/step-grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
