It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ellen Alt of Sandpoint, Idaho, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James T. Gilligan and Marion P. Gilligan; her sister Mary McNeill; her spouse Alfons Alt; her sons, Michael Alt (Kristie) of Hauser, ID and James Alt (Kari) of McCall, ID; her grandsons, Jakob and Fischer Alt; her siblings-in-law, Erwin Alt of Bonners Ferry, ID, John, Linda Alt of Bonners Ferry, ID, Herb, Jackie Alt of Spokane, WA, Rita Gilligan of Boston, Mass. and Ella Bauer (Neustadt Germany); her brothers, Sepp (Tina Alt) and Waldmunchen Germany; her brother-in-law Karl Alt Wassertrudigen Germany; and also James Gilligan. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
