With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Elwin Clayson (Shelley, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Clayson and Darlene Duce Clayson. He is survived by: his wife Eris Clayson; his children, Trishann Russell (Jared), Brent Clayson (Maddie), Daniel Clayson (Jill), Cammie Sauer (Scott), Candie Madsen (Brandan) and Nathan Clayson (Brooke); and his siblings, Nolan, Dennis, Gaylen, Melanie, Janeen, Connie and Kaylene. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to local missionaries or the ward mission fund.
