He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Sluder and Gonda Ovada Riley Sluder; his brothers, Ronald Sluder and Doug Sluder; and his nephew Thomas Sluder.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sluder; his brothers, Duke Sluder and Gib Sluder; his children, John Trammel, Shari Panter and Tina Barrett; and his stepchildren, Penny Olmstead, Melody Leseburg, Eric Box and Preston Box. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dale definitely had the "gift of gab" and will be missed not only for his contributions to his work and community but also for the warmth and love he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
