He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Katona and Julia Katona; and his sister Barb McKendree. He is survived by: his wife Judith Katona; and his children, Cliff Katona (Susie), Jeff Katona (Dana) and Anita Katona-Edwards (Travis). He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery (1585 E Elm St, Buhl, ID 83316).
