“I met Chance at the Senion Center where he came for lunch most Wednesdays & Fridays. He immediately befriended my husband and I and never once missed a day asking, "Where's Jim?", I'd say, he'll be here for lunch, Chance and he would reply OK. When Jim would arrive, Chance would say there's Jim. It was a ritual that I know I will miss. I know he had his struggles, but he was kind, a good person who cared about people. I pray that his family will find peace; I know his memory will live on.”
