He was predeceased by : his father Leon Jex Thomas. He is survived by : his mother Joy Dean Woods; his wife Carol Hemmert; and his children, Jessica Ozburn (Aaron), Jennifer Bunderson (Brian), Shannon Green (Forrest), Rase Woods (Tabitha) and Sierra Woods. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
