It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Douglas Friedman D. in Sun Valley, Idaho, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Scott Douglas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Scott Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Scott Douglas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Marie; and his sister Wendy. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Nicholas Friedman (Margaret) and Kendall Verge (Ben); his grandsons, Gus and Wesley; and his siblings, Robin Friedman (Rod) and Timothy Friedman.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden (11 Gimlet Rd, Ketchum, ID 83340).
