Sonya Helen Dunfield Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonya Helen Dunfield of Sun Valley, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Sonya shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sonya farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oswald Klopfer and Margarethe Klopfer; her husband Peter; her sister Anita Jorgenson (Klopfer); her sons, Gregory (Elizabeth) and Roger (Yvonne); and her grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Nathan and Coby.
