It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Kaufmann in Syringa, Idaho, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Hilda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Hilda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hoogland and Jennie Hoogland (Workman); her husband Bob; her daughter Sallie; and her brothers, John and James Jr. Hoogland.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Williamson (Terry) of Victor, Mont and Ray Kaufmann (Peggy) of Grangeville; and her sister Margaret Howell of Lewiston. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
