It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sven Ottesen of Teton, Idaho, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sven Ottesen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Skip Ottesen; his parents, Max Ottesen and Arile Ottesen; his sister Margaret Steel; his brothers-in-law, Dale Jensen, Louis Parker, John Young and Ralph Voss; and his in-laws, LaMoyne and Karen Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Merril Quayle (Mindi) of Pocatello, Melinda Mower (Rick) of Teton and Jesse Ottesen (Cammi) of Iona; his sisters, Linda Voss, Mary Ellen Young and Marie Rasmussen (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Nola Jensen, Eileen Parker, Debbie De Los (Jose), Cherrol Chiles (Jack) and Bryon Parker. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Teton-Newdale Cemetery Veterans Memorial.
