He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Beard; his pets, Opey and Chester; his brother Danny Beard; his siblings-in-law, Tawni Beard and Randall Heinz; and his nephews, Ernie and Jacob Beard.
He is survived by: his mother Trixie Beard; and his siblings, Sally Heinz, Gary Beard (Jeannette), Doug Beard (Regina) and Joe Beard (Anjanette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
