She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Shaw and Ivy Shaw; her husband Lorn; and her siblings, Lonnie, Mel, Orph, Floyd, Ernie, Pearl, Erma and Ivy.
She is survived by: her brother Dale; her brother-in-law Fritz; her children, Linda Hughes (Wayne) of Spokane, WA, Larry Brunton (Terri) of Potlach, ID, Garry Brunton (Wendy) of Moses Lake, WA and Cindy McCoy (John) of Kennewick, WA; her sisters, Shirley Shelton of Everett, WA and Delores Nelson of Troy, ID; Joanne.
In lieu of flowers, Laverna had asked to have donations be made in her name to the Troy Volunteer Fire Department and Troy Volunteer Ambulance.
