He was predeceased by : his parents, Warner Howard and Edith Howard. He is survived by : his wife MaryLou; his children, Heidi Houser (Jason), Sarah Howard, Catherine Robinson (David) and Joe Howard; his grandchildren, Ben Houser, Brandon Houser (Hannah), Abigail Houser, Anna and Cora Robinson; and his sister Barbara Kevan (Mark).

A few years later, he moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he lived most of his life and made significant contributions to the community.
