She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Kempke and Juanita Kempke; and her sister Carol Black. She is survived by: her husband Rex; her sons, Jason (Caralee), Shelby (JoAndi) and Paul; her nephew Scott; and her niece Kristi.

She was an active volunteer at the Magic Valley Arts Council and the Twin Falls Library Foundation.
