He is survived by: his wife Rita Larsen Smack; and his children, Brad Nelson (Jevonne Smack), Amy Ellsworth (Mike Lynch), Ted (Julie Smack), Jennifer (Paul Burnier) and Kate (Brian Charlesworth). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
