He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin David Davis and Cora Cumi Cheney Davis; his wife Gay M. Atkinson; his son Douglas; his grandson Shane; and his brothers, Martin Jr., Elmo and Joseph Darrell.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Williams (Val), Lane Davis (Eliana), Alan Davis (Geana) and Julie Ahlborn (Eric); and his sisters, LaMarr Davidson and Verlean Walker. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
