He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Helen Swift; his son-in-law Randy Steel; his brothers-in-law, Erwin Schilling and Edward Schaag; his daughter Deana Steel (Randy); his grandson James Steel (Brandi); his great grandchildren, Terrance, Teegan and Trinity; his siblings, Juanita Schilling, Donald Hoepker (Mary), Daniel Hoepker (Shirley), Carolyn Schaag, Luetta Marsh (Phil) and Nancy Wright (Richard); and his friend Karen Nedbalek.
