She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Douglas and Caroline Douglas; and her sister Joan Blaine. She is survived by: her husband Gerald; and her children, Scott Orthel (Emma) of Tyler, Krista Huettig (Doug) of Hazelton and Bryan Orthel of Bloomington, Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
