She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Nightengale and Laurel Nightengale; her former husband Ted Jensen Nasman; and her siblings, Andy Nightengale, Terry Taylor and Douglas Nightengale.

She is survived by: her husband John Thompson; her extended family Marti; her daughters, Kristin Green (Bob) and Jennifer Thompson; her stepchildren, Jeff Nasman (Joleen), Ashlee McKinney (Nathan) and Jared Nasman; her siblings, Melanie Hessler (Duane), Laurel Nasados (Jim), Dennis Nightengale and Steve Nightengale; Ruari Green. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
