He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Borchard and Carolyn Borchard. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his children, Patrick Borchard (Karin), Cheryl McMurtrey (Tim), Susan Barry (Andrew) and Carrie DeMichelis (Nicola). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21½ great-grandchildren.
