He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur James Gourley and Viola Cavita Brown; his brothers, Ralph Wesley and Ron Gourley (Verlene Gourley); his son Gene Gourley; and also, Will and Iva.
He is survived by: his wife Verlene Evelyn McCoy; his sister Joyce Gourley Harper of Connell Washington; his son Gale Gourley (Tracie) of Moscow; his grandsons, Michael Gourley (Kalie) of Lewiston Idaho, Aaron Gourley of Moscow and David Gourley (Maria) of Moscow; and his great grandchildren, Owen Gourley, Myles Gourley, Liam Gourley, Kaleb Gourley of Moscow and Mila Gourley of Lewison. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moscow Church of the Nazarene (1400 E 7th St, Moscow, ID 83843). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Viola Cemetery (1026 Viola Rd, Viola, ID 83872).
