He was predeceased by : his parents, Odie Thompson and Mae Thompson; and his brother Larry Thompson. He is survived by : his aunt June Westfall of Colorado; his brothers, Jim Thompson (Gloria) of Minnesota, Odell Thompson of Minnesota and Lloyd Thompson (Terry) of Oregon; his nieces, Jamie Eck (Jim) of Illinois, Heidi Lewis (Richard) of North Dakota and Tina York (Dan) of North Dakota; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Sarah Eck, Joshua Lewis, Daniel Eck, Andrea, Sophia Strange, Christopher and Jesse York; and also Zaybian McLain Eck.
