The family announces the passing of Elaine Scott of Wendell, Idaho on September 16, 2026. Elaine, born on December 8, 1931, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Swenson and Edith Swenson; her husband Ishmael Scott; her brothers, Eugene, Rodney and Timothy; and her children, Blaine Scott and Gwen Dennis (Kip).
She is survived by: her pet Cricket; her siblings, Jenny Nelson of Wendell, Vernal Swenson (Jackie) of Shelley and Einar Swenson (Diane) of Hagerman; and her children, Debra Lancaster (Jack) of Wendell, Kip Dennis of Baker, Oregon and Tracy Scott (Sue) of Hagerman. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Community Church (800 W Main St, Wendell, ID 83355).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Wendell Senior Center or a favorite charity of your choice.
