With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Kelley of Wendell, Idaho, who passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Gary departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Kelley and Oliver Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Leila Kelley; his stepfathers, Chester Geerhart and Lloyd Myers (Slim); his sister Margaret Shawver (Peggy); his grandchildren, Christopher Davis and Alana Berrocal; and his son-in-law Roy Chivers.

“I think my best memory of Uncle Gary is when he was teasing Grandma Wilma. I went to visit her at the assisted living. Uncle Gary took her to a doctor's visit. Grandma never looked in the mirror to but her eye brows on with a eye brow pencil. She put them on like normal. Gary a picked her up. After the dr came in, Gary had her look in her mirror from her purse. She had used red lip liner not brown eye brow pencil. She was so mad at him for letting her go all that way without telling her.”
