It is with sadness that the passing of Jerry Ballard Allen (Wendell, Idaho) is shared. Jerry, born on May 15, 1947 in Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on August 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Jerry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Jerry by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Jerry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Jerry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dona Egbert Allen and John Carson Allen; and his wife Janet Gardner Luttmer. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Allen (Revina) of Wendell, Idaho, Bethany Stratton of Seattle, Washington, Rebecca Olson (Kris) of Billings, Montana, David Allen (Sheila) of Salmon, Idaho and Michael Allen (Jessica) of Spokane, Washington.. He is also survived by his eight siblings, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry requested that donations be made to the Wendell Senior Center, P.O. Box 513, Wendell, ID 83355.
