He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vance and Harriet Vance; and his daughter Sheri Berks. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Peterson; and his children, Craig Vance (Julie), Laura Murray and Scott Vance (Debbie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
