She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer P. Schisler and Nada Schisler (Mitchell); her former spouse Lynn Dykeman; her husband Elmer A. Sickles, Jr.; her son Robert E. Dykeman; her son-in-law Steve Fordyce; her grandson Kevin Sickles, Jr.; and her great grandchild Charlotte Sickles.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Fordyce of Abingdon, Rodney Sickles of Avon, Kevin Sickles (Susanne) of Abingdon and Gale Sickles (Diana) of Abingdon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Berwick Baptist Church or to Hospice Compassus.
