He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Batson; his sons, Rodney Batson (Suzanne) of Abingdon and Gary Batson (Lorrie) of Oquawka; his granddaughter Diana Knox (Brian) of Gilson; his sisters, Shirley Blodgett of Abingdon and Mary Jo Russo of Abingdon; his sister-in-law Louise Batson; and his grandchildren, Jared Batson, Kyle Batson, Kylie Batson, Krista Hogsett, Dustin Miner and Stephanie Ryan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
