He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert G. Bernard and Elsie M. Bernard; and his brother Danny Bernard. He is survived by : his former life partner Jeri Galloway; his children, Dustin Atwood of Frisco and Brittany Chaney (Justin) of Wataga, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Carter, Jack, Jace and Mackenzie Chaney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
