She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Norah Carter (Pennington); her husband Jay W. Landon; and her siblings, Gay Johnson, Hobert Carter, Pete Carter and George Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Jaylynne Landon of Abingdon, Cheryl Baggett (Dan) of Rolla, W. Frank Landon (Lois) of Abingdon, Dennis Landon (Lori) of Abingdon and Marilynne Penn of Abingdon; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Carter of Wisconsin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made the Church of God of Prophecy in Abingdon.
