He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Cooper and Minnie B. Cooper (Henzen); his wife Gloria Rae Sweet; his grandfather Kenneth Cooper (Crystal Cooper) of Abingdon; his daughter Debra Cartee; his great grandchild Kaisley; and his siblings, Gordon, June Cooper and Carole Hollenback.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Cooper (Eve) of Mississippi and James Cooper (Heather). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
