It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jayne Jones of Abingdon, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jayne Jones to pay them a last tribute.
Though Jayne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Ray and Helen M. Ray (McKinley); her husband Michael Jones; and her great grandchild Jaxson Fortune. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Jones (Shelby) of Abingdon, Kent Jones (Leslie) of Abingdon and Kari Jones of Tahlequah; and her sister Judy Skinner of Abingdon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff Pearson West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service (206 N Washington St, Abingdon, IL 61410). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Abingdon Cemetery (501 W Memorial Dr, Abingdon, IL 61410).
