She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leonard and Elsie Eleanor Peterson (Rose); her husband Oly; her sister June; and her brother-in-law Ron Pinson.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Olinger of Pekin, Illinois, Don Olinger (Haydee) of Park Ridge, Illinois, Teresa Allen (late Jerry) of Abingdon, Chris Olinger (Barb Brush) of Abingdon and Jody Way (Jack) of Abingdon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way, nine great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial fund in Joyce's name.
