With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Sherman of Abingdon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde and Izora Mae Sherman (Carrier); his brother Herb Sherman; and his nephews, Jason Dirden and Greg Sherman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brayden Sherman, Kylie Sherman, Devon Sherman, Ethan Pemberton, Ashton Sherman, Avary Sherman, Lily Sherman, Izabella Sherman, Maleki Arnold, Kayden Arnold and Bentley Sherman; and his siblings, Bob Dirden (Paulette) of Herrin, Donald Sherman of Sacramento, Eric Sherman (Lorna) of Lexington, Kentucky, Patricia Smith (Dennis) of Marion and Debbie Lyle (Woody) of Herrin.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2368 W Main St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knoxville American Legion (749 Henderson Rd, Knoxville, IL 61448).
