She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Hepner (Morgan); her husband Jim Neal; and her brothers-in-law, Stan Sanders and Aaron Tessier. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Neal (Alicia) of Loveland and Jeff Neal (Heather Thompson) of Abingdon; her siblings, Terry Hepner (Jo Ellen), Rex Hepner (Becky), Darrell Hepner (Mary), Vicky Sanders and Stacy Schafer; her grandchildren, Audrey Neal, Wyatt Neal, Mylissa Alvarado and Jeremiah Armstrong; and her great grandchild Cooper Dale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abingdon American Legion (546 IL-41, Abingdon, IL 61410).
