With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tammy Potts of Abingdon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Tammy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Leon Glisan; her stepfather Leroy Hoffman; her siblings, Terry Glisan and Lisa Jane Glisan; and her husband Richard Potts.
She is survived by: her mother Janet Hope Glisan (Huls) of Carthage; her children, Jeremy Potts (Katrina) of Grand River, Jacob Potts (Richard Velasco) of Gainesville, Joshua Potts of Carthage, Jason Potts of St. Augustine, Illinois, Jennifer Kelly (Chris) of Augusta and Jessica Neill (T. J.) of Keokuk, Iowa; and her siblings, Tim Glisan of Macomb, Illinois and Teresa Smith (Travis) of Carthage. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
