He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schaal and Dolores Schaal; and his brother Alan Schaal. He is survived by: his children, Renee Anselmini (Mark), Dustin Schaal (Tara) and Dion Schaal (Danielle); his grandchildren, Brayden, Marlee, Lily and Layla; and his sister Diane Lewandowski (Dave).
