We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2025, at the age of 84, James Joseph Cahill Jr. of Addison, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elenor Str and James Cahill Str; and his siblings, Daniel and Carol. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cahill (Kube); his children, Dawn Volkmar (Michael) and Jim (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Mikey Volkmar, Molly Volkmar, Maggie Volkmar, Macie Volkmar, Miley Volkmar, Charlotte Cahill, Jimmy Cahill, Kelly Cahill and Patrick Cahill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home (435 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (134 Arthur St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
