He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Rose; his parents, Joseph and Katherine; and his siblings, Ann, Julia, Genevieve, Frances, Agnes, Stanley and Edward (Jan).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hrunek (Gary), Diane Muench (Mark), Joe (Terri) and Lisa Jeffers (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason (Lauren), Amanda, Kristin (Mike), Alex (Elizabeth), Katie, Peter, Jordan (Melissa), Sydni and Taylor (Mikey); and his great grandchildren, Evan, Mia, Henry, Brianna and Jack.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Church (1223 W Holtz Ave, Addison, IL 60101). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salerno's Rosedale Chapel (450 W Lake St, Roselle, IL 60172). Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated if donations are given to The Wounded Warriors Project Memorial page in Joe's name would be greatly appreciated.
