He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Simpson; his sister Kathy Pudelek (Kenneth); his grandparents, Myrtle, Floyd Bell and Ozell Piper; and his uncles, Lavola Pink (Martin), Bobbie Coulter and Pat Richardson.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Simpson; his girlfriend Sandra Ickovits; his sister Sandra Halberthal; and his sibling's children, Christopher, Jennifer, Kelly, Matthew and Steven.
