She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Smith and Ella Smith (Green); her son Mike Eshelman; her sister Mary McKenzie; her grandson Sean; and her great grandchild Everest Cliffy.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Eshelman; her children, Andrea Kyarsgaard (Kory) of Albany, Todd Eshelman of California and Clifford Eshelman (Laura) of Clinton; and her brothers, Clifton "Bud" Smith of Clinton and Gene Smith (Jami) of Oregon. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren.
