Richard V. Hacker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 90, Richard V. Hacker of Albers, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hacker and Ida Hacker (Vandeloo); his son John Hacker; his siblings, Wilbur, Robert, Eddie Jr. (Joyce), Joe (June), Alvin Hacker and Dolly Von Alst (Melvin); and his siblings-in-law, Joe Trevelline, Bill Tadlock, John Kampwerth, Jeanette, Paul Benhoff, Sister Mary Ann Schrage and Ray Schrage.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Sudholt (Bryan), Tina Simpson (Donnie Torres) and Donna Finlay (David); his grandchildren, Tony Sudholt (Sarah), Liz Sudholt, Jacob Sudholt (Alyssa Curran), Haley Baugh (Thomas), Sam Simpson (Dakotah), Cullen Simpson (Krista Miller), Anna Finlay and Kiera Finlay; his great grandchildren, Layton and Palmer Sudholt; his sisters, Loretta Trevelline, Doris Tadlock and Mary Kampwerth; and his siblings-in-law, Romy Schrage, Mike Schrage, Ed, Agnes Schrage, Sister Angela Schrage, Barb and Frank Zaloga.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (202 N Broadway, Albers, IL 62215). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery (202 N Broadway, Albers, IL 62215).
In keeping with Rich's caring personality, please omit gifts and flowers; expressions of sympathy may be made by donating to Community Link (https://commlink.org) or St. Bernard's Capital Campaign Fund and will be received at church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
