She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Joe Elliott; her parents, Glenn F. Coats and Marie Coats Sr.; and her sister Sandra K. Taake. She is survived by: her son Andrew Elliott (Lisa); her granddaughters, Cami and Emily Elliott; and her siblings, Glenda Knobloch Churchill, Rita Engbring (Jeff), Glenn Coats (Linda), Candy Vogt (Barry), Randall Coats (Michelle) and Kimberly Ruff (Todd).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Humane Society.
