He was predeceased by: his parents, Englebert George and Coraline Wissel (Summers); and his son-in-law Dennis Splittorff. He is survived by: his wife Avalea Chapman; his children, Stephen Wissel (Judy), Lori Splittorff (Dennis), Tony Wissel (Gina) and Tonya Bratsch (Curt); his grandchildren, Joseph, Addison, Evan, Rachel, Faith, Kelcy, Christian, Brenden and Callie; and his brother Fred Wissel. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
