She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Smith and Verdia Smith; her husband Tom Chitwood; her siblings, Kenneth Smith, Cyril Smith, Lester Smith, Dennis Smith (Bud) and Minnie Siefert; and her pet Penny.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Chitwood and Jeff Chitwood (Lacy); and her grandchildren, Tyler Harrell, Chloe Ray (Seth), Brody Chitwood (Adelie), Noah Chitwood and Peyton Chitwood.
