She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ellinghaus and Hedwig Ellinghaus (Reichstein); and her husband Robert R. Flieth. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Hyatte (Neil) of Hebron, Kathleen McGonagill (William) of Mokena, Patricia Winker (Warren) of Worth and Nancy Barclay (Glenn) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Patrick McGonagill (Molly), Christopher Campione (Brittany), Nicholas Campione (Marni), Lindsey Cortesi (Anthony) and Kevin Peterson (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Jack McGonagill, Cohen, Brady, Kalli Campione, Emerson Peterson, Chase and Andie Campione; her brother William Ellinghaus (Karen) of Frankfort; and her sister-in-law Jean Remington of Downers Grove. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Irene's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
