She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Edward "Doc" McCartan; her parents, Ann Schine (Sass) and Jacob Schine (Jack); her siblings, Lorraine Schine, Grace Blasco, Shirley Kanak (David), Jack Schine Jr., Robert Schine (Ann) and David Schine (Jane); her in-laws, Charles Francis and Mary McCartan (Donegan); and her siblings-in-law, Hugh, Charles Patrick, James McCartan, Maisie, Rosie and Ann McCartan.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Tacchia (late Mickey), Sharon McCartan-Bruemmer (late Ray), Pattie Holloway (Jim), Kevin McCartan (Maryann), Brian McCartan (Darlene) and Sheila McCartan (Ron Brewer); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Eric, Amber, Bryan, Kyle, Amanda, Rebecca, Kristopher, Seth, Kevin Jr., Camden, Michael, Angelinna, Patricia, Susan, Raymond Jr., Craig, Morgan and Cami. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care or The Diabetes Association.
